What's your take on the Family and Space Island line-ups?family - eh. Aside from assault I don't even know who these people are. The LA scene confounds me. Space island - Tipper, starfire, and bbb? That place will be bubbling cess pool of ego (mostly supplied by bbb himself).
The walls will be literally crawling with raging narcissistic trustafarian peacocks. Don't get me wrong, I love Tipper, and Starfire's stuff is OK, but christ, there's nowhere I'd rather be less. Oscure's a nice guy though. I'll get my excessive dosage of that scene at Zero Ground. Like I said, I'm going to get more of my fill of the 'scene' at Zero Ground so I'm not setting foot near another Get Freaky event for a while. The Krafty show will be fun but Mighty's a tiny club. I may just go to the Diplo show if I don't have to pay.
Btw, there's a jam-ish afterparty turning into an electro party at 12 Galaxies. It officially starts at 2am when Blue Turtle Seductions set will still be going, then BLVD are playing (followed by a few random a-hole DJ's nobody cares about). There's also a good chance Diplo will show up there (also possibly Freq too), but that's nowhere close to guaranteed and you didn't hear it from me.
Garena Hack Shells. The flyer still says 'plus Special Guest'. Shhhhhh ( ) that show will also come in handy for those that don't want to sit around and wait for Breakfast of Champions to start at 6am. That after party would be perfect to hit up after the Les Claypool show, which creates a nice alternative to the Freq Nasty route. Speaking of which, how would he show up if he's got his own party going across town?
And who's going to be spinning at BOC?freq would show up after of course. He's only playing a few blocks away.
The furthest you can get from any other person in SF is still only 7 miles. It's not at all certain beyond vague rumor that this would happen though. Don't count on it. BOC is just the same old locals that play every year. Maybe krafty might show up, but probably not.
