With every expansion and update seeming to only focus on the things that all other MMOs focus on, I feel we're becoming stale due to neglecting some of the things that made our MMO more rich in depth and lore. The main core things that I would want you to take away from my ideas are thus: -Integrate the music system as a hobby so fishing isn't awkwardly alone anymore. -Add sheet music items to the game that, upon use, can copy ABC files to the user's computer based on the composition of the item. -Add two new instrument types: the fiddle and the voice. When no instrument is equipped, the player will sing with his/her voice instead.

-Make it possible to walk while playing instruments. This would actually give players a reason to USE the walk capability.

And imagine the marching bands and wandering Minstrels! A march through the Ettenmoors with a drummer boy at the rear would be awesome to see.

-Make it possible to gain buffs and complete deeds from playing special challenging sheet music items found throughout Middle-earth. With non-player-made sheet music, item use will only display the sheet music, and will not award you the ABC file until you have successfully played it once manually and earned the deed. Playing the ABC file without having earned the deed would not give the player the buff (to discourage cheating). Those are some of the things I would love to see added to this game someday. I love music, hence my decision to stick with the Minstrel class. But being that music was such a big part of Middle-earth lore, I feel that music shouldn't be LIMITED to this class, only SPECIALIZED by this class.

The world of Arda was created with music, and thus, I believe music should not be cast aside in favor of combat. It should be celebrated and it should be updated with something more substantial than the addition of an awful sounding Pibgorn.

I'm hoping that at the very least this post will provoke some ideas in our dev minds. This system would add an increased feeling of depth and background to the world.

Also, one other quick thing. Please, for the love of Eru, add more variety to the battle cries.

Particularly the male Hobbit battle cry, which alternates between the same two sounds. It gets pretty old after playing in war-speech.

Vocals would be great too but they have to actually hire additionnal professional voice-actors for this task which is unlikely. If you are actually suggesting what i understand at the second reading, that would be a huge mess people trolling around doing all kinds of noises:/ But still, i love these ideas This game just has so many potentials it's unbelievable but it all needs some work. Maybe we will see Turbine actually working on the little things that makes huge difference and keeps players attached to the game since we won't have any 'expansions' in 2014. I support this idea.

Some things may be impossible to make, or just hard, but i do not understand programming. Oh I fully understand that some of these things I have mentioned would not be practical for an MMO, and some of these things may be impossible to pull off with our current game engine.

I am a guy who likes the little details more than the broad and overall scope of things. I guess I'm a perfectionist, but I think that this is a huge concern that most players have, and I would agree with you on this point wholeheartedly.

I think everyone is a bit upset with that, and if Turbine could take a little time off on making their expansion packs and instead work on little details and stuff people would like to see, they will be able to not only bring in a lot more players (which will provide some money for them) but also satisfy their current player-base. It can easily be done, and is also the most plausible out of this entire post, since it has been done with the new update/patch, where for example now hunters can move while charging up the ability for 'Barbed Arrow' or 'Swift Bow', so this seems like it can be done, and also be met with popularity. The only thing I see stopping this is that people move/jump when they want to stop playing, but this can easily be switched to where you can walk, but when you jump you stop playing. No, thank you. It's a thought-intriguing post. I would like to see some more implementation of little details that can enhance the playing experience for all, especially things that don't cause too many problems.

The only issue I see with this post is the fact that there is no incentive for Turbine to implement this, as there is no way for them to make money off of this idea. If you can somehow connect it to that, then Turbine might take a little more look at it, since the devs are your main audience. Like unip0pcorn said, this game has so much potential, and if Turbine can take advantage of that, there will be no other MMORPG that can rival this.
