Then, the mockups were milled using a CAM system. Minimally invasive preparation was carried out on the enamel surface with the mockups as position guides. The patients found both the digital smile design previsualization (64.3%) and the milling mockup test (85.7%) very effective.

I have been experimenting with Sketchup, to see how it could be used for designing 3 dimensional parts and models, with the goal of generating G-code that could be run on my CNC router table.
