There were 2 problems with the piano. First, there was a ground hum. Second, the instrument sounds are not that good. I tried every possible remedy and finally got it so the ground hum was not so loud.

I contacted Kurzweil customer support and went back and forth with them several times. I asked if the power cord and transformer might be defective. Even though I told them what I'd tried to do to eliminate the hum they recommended everything I had already told them. The piano sounds were ok but not as good as the sounds in my older micro piano and micro ensemble. The organ sounds were kind of average.

The strings, marimba were good. The vibes were not good, the accordion sound was average. After working with it for a couple of weeks I realized I was not happy with the piano so I opted to exchange it for a Roland RD-300nx.
